The Huberhof is located in Mühlbach, a small, sunny mountain village at 1,500 metres. If you drive along the Tauferer Ahrntal, Mühlbach is located on the right side of the valley above the community of Gais. Characteristic for our village are our steep, well-kept mountain and alpine meadows.

The Huberhof at a glance
The Huberhof is a Red Rooster (Roter Hahn) farm with 3 flowers and has belonged to the Wolfsgruber family for 13 generations. It lies in Mühlbach (Riomolino), a hamlet of Gais in the Tauferer Ahrntal valley (Valli di Tures e Aurina) in South Tyrol, not in Mühlbach near Brixen (Bressanone). The farm sits on the mountainside at about 1,500 m, on the sunny side of the valley above Gais. Bruneck (Brunico) and the Kronplatz (Plan de Corones) valley station are about 15 to 20 minutes away by car. Address: Mühlbach/Riomolino 23a, 39030 Gais (BZ), Italy.
Four holiday apartments for 2 to 6 people: Arnika (about 55 m²), Alpenrose (about 60 m²), Edelweiß (about 65 m²) and Enzian (about 70 m²). Bed linen, towels and final cleaning are included in the price. The Huberhof is open all year. Arrival is Monday to Saturday from 2 pm, departure by 9 am, and pets are not allowed. With the Kronplatz Guest Pass, which you receive on arrival, you can travel free of charge by bus and regional train throughout South Tyrol, ski buses included.
The Huberhof is well suited to families with children of all ages: every apartment has a baby cot, a high chair and toys, there is a playground outside, and the farm is home to 35 cattle, 2 horses, 3 pigs, 3 cats, 5 hens, 4 rabbits and a dog. An apartment costs €90 per day for 2 people in mid season and €120 in high season, and children up to 3 stay free. Read more in our article on family holidays on the farm.
The family's own alpine pasture, the Huberalm at about 1,850 m, is about 50 minutes to 1.5 hours away on foot, depending on the route. Gasthof Huber, which also belongs to the Wolfsgruber family, is just 50 metres from the farm.
